What do you have to say in response to Treva's article? Are you out in the "real world" yet? Does your job leave you feeling worn out?

Treva, all I can say is this: Welcome to real life. Hopefully, it'll get a little easier for all of us once we get older and more used to the idea of spending our waking hours at a desk somewhere.

Heehee... one more year till university... then four more years till the real world... I'll hopefully be getting a 'fake job' in August, though... I love money so much it's considered indecent.

I, myself, have been so desperate for a break actually used my headache as an excuse to call in. Sadly, my headache, though rather mild on Monday, has been full-blown today -- can't even sleep. But that's besides the point. The point is I'm so desperate for time to do my things and time for me that I'm willing to use my sick time for it. Anyone else do this in their old age?

I would LOVE to hear from some people who are at my point in life. And for contrast, those that are my age and still a distance from their first career job.

I know that problem - I mean lesson. My message is: don't stop going to the movies, don't stop the games night (I don't think you need to be told about caring for the ferrets). These things belong to another world, and when you're in the sleepy world of real work it is *so* hard to find those things if you lose them. You might not understand this until you are here, but I found myself without people to play games with or go to movies with one day. It has been three years since the old crew left town and now I know one movie-goer and I read about games on the net. You might not understand this until you are here, or maybe I'm just a sad loser, but I didn't used to be...
