Greetings,

I have been looking at this forum and a couple of others for the formats used in the VCDs sold in Asia , specifically in India.

I hear that Hong Kong and tahiland produce both NTSC/PAL VCDs. Can any one of you help me identifying which format is used in India. This will help me to buy VCDs/VCD player accordingly.

India uses PAL. All VCD players can play PAL and NTSC discs, and most can switch output color systems automatically. You might want to get a multi-system TV to pair with it.
