Mercy Jack! What a lot of acreage! And I think I am proud with two acres! Don't know what I can offer except willingness to investigate knowledge, high and low to help you. Oh God!, I can't even get a tomato bush to fruitation. God did give me a tenacity. And I pursue it, despite the obstacles.

Hey jack,we have a homestead much like your own.We are in south central Ohio on a 133ac. farm. This place had been vacant for quite sometime, was run down and full of critters. After a 2yr.restoration project its really shaping up.We also raise chickens, ducks,&pigs. Along with the 3 dogs,2 labs and a mutt.I have a pictures of our place posted on another if you are interested.

you realy are close to me i get over to brookvile and the flea market there on ocasion and over to oldenburg to michala farm to give hierloom seed demonstrations and share some seed with interested gardeners. I am a member of the seed savers exchange 200 acers in petersburg trying to farm and work off the farm too gets to be hectic and the place is a mess at times will look a lot bettter when i get the hay mowed then it will lool like huge lawn to city people and not a neglected weed wilderness.i hAVE A LOT OF TOOLS and equipment i just dont have time to use like i want too but i do make a great show of it
