Response to Make a Kid smile

Okay, so now you got me crying. In my belief system, all bad things happen for a good cause, that being that without illness, cruelty, and other bad things, no one would have any reason to show compassion, love, empathy, and all of the other things that let us grow into mature, evolved souls. Even so, it is still difficult to think of the crosses borne by those who have chosen to come to earth in the guise of the sick and injured for the benefit of the rest of us. The sacrifices made by them in this life give us all a way to advance our own growth, and I feel for them deeply with both compassion and gratitude. I hope that all of us are inspired to help out those in need, both for their sake and for our own. I bookmarked the site, and hope to visit it regularly.

Thanks Jacque! My home schooled munchkins will be looking at this site with me this afternoon after swimming and I am thinking that they will be participating in the card campaign monthly now. Thanks so much for sharing!
