Ok -- I'm outta here.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Wild Wild West : One Thread

Due to the responses on my thread about what can we do about impersonators, I am off for the day as well. Maybe longer.

To reiterate: any "Eve" responses on this or any thread after this will be from the troll(s). If anyone would like to talk, please e-mail me.

Eve--

Does Objectivism advocate such an emotional decision? Please hang-in.

Looks like the "troll" didn't like the welcome it got at the party *grin*

-- Cherri (jessam5@home.com), June 11, 2001.

Troll; An individual who chronically trolls in sense 1; regularly posts specious arguments, flames or personal attacks to a newsgroup, discussion list, or in email for no other purpose than to annoy someone or disrupt a discussion. Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in learning about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait. Like the ugly creatures they are named after, they exhibit no redeeming characteristics, and as such, they are recognized as a lower form of life on the net, as in, "Oh, ignore her, she's just a troll."

That is the best discription of Cherri I've seen yet.

Now I am really confused. Aren't we all just Unk D. in disguise?

-- Break out the cookies and milk (aimless@national_raffle_association.org), June 11, 2001.

Now I am really confused. Aren't we all just Unk D. in disguise?

You're jumping ahead of "our" schedule, cookies. The therapist specifically said we're not supposed to tackle the schizophrenia thing until next month. You're always doing stuff like that. That's why we don't let you get your "time" in the sessions anymore.

Now just get back down there with the others and shut up for a while, I'm using the keyboard right now.

-- Bemused (and_amazed@you.people), June 12, 2001.

Schizophrenia is not the same thing as multiple personalities.

-- (bemused@is.confused), June 12, 2001.

I am not dudesy.

-- Enlightenment (gone@away.now), June 12, 2001.

No, it's not. And as Lars (?) said in another thread, schizophrenia is due to a chemical imbalance in the brain. In the movie "Me, Myself, and Irene," the writers would have you believe that Jim Carrey's character is displaying schizophrenic symptoms, when, in fact, it's mostly MPD symptoms.

For an accurate description of the brain disease, schizophrenia - "Suriving Schizophrenia" by E. Fuller Torrey tells it like it is.

-- blah (blah@blah.blah), June 12, 2001.

I didn't realize that! I thought MPD was actually considered an advanced form of schizophrenia by the medical community.

I also didn't realize we had so many mental-disorder experts in house.... But I should have, in hindsight.

This is what we like to do to trolls.

-- Cherri (jessam5@home.com), June 12, 2001.

I honestly can't tell what's going on there, Cherri. Looks like it involves Evian, a microphone, some bouncer/roadie types, and some curvaceous ladies in the background.... Are you saying trolls get to be in Aerosmith?

-- Bemused (and_amazed@you.people), June 13, 2001.

Hey Cherri!

Nice enhancement of the pic!! Good job!!! Actually it is a coupla of the regular handsome fellas on the forum assaulting the anonymous troll with various weapons while some of the lovely ladies observe the scene, obviously pleased with their valor!! Afterwards, there was applause all around!!! Wish you coulda been there! Maybe next time-I'd love to meet ya!!

-- Aunt Bee (Aunt__Bee@hotmail.com), June 13, 2001.

That's Flint and Carlos kicking some troll ass!

-- Uncle Deedah (unkeed@yahoo.com), June 13, 2001.

Iszatso? Looks to me like the troll has been partyin’ with the ladies while Flint (in a harness) and Carlos (wearing a rubber shirt) have been playing some bondage games with each other. Gotta love that Myrtle Beach lifestyle!

-- Troll (be@having.fun), June 13, 2001.

ROTFLMAO

“Bondage Games”

This is as funny as it gets!

-- Telinet (like@it.is), June 13, 2001.

The troll is smiling, the girls are smiling, and Flint and Carlos have each other. How cute!

Actually, apon closer inspection, that's Absolut vodka, not Evian bottled water. Explains a few things.

"This is what we like to do to trolls."

You ain't seen nothin yet!!!

Bemused,
