Howard Bond conducts his workshops in Michigan. I don't know whether he has one devoted solely to large format photography or not. You might contact him and find out.

Howard Bond teaches several workshops in Ann Arbor. I've been to just about all of them. He does a basic view camera workshop which covers use of camera movements and all of the basic stuff you need to get started. Then there's the printing workshop which is excellent for those already familiar with darkroom technique but want to refine their printing skills to achieve better control over the finished print. This involves looking at many prints, which is essential in understanding what fine print quality is all about. Howard also does an unsharp masking workshop which explores his technique for planning and executing unsharp masks for enhancing detail in prinitng. He is an excellent teacher, a real gentleman and a joy to listen to. He also leads workshops in the field although he seems to be doing less of that presently. What kinds of workshops are you interested in?

Amen to Robert's comments. This Oct 6 Howard will hold a large format class followed on Sunday with his alumni day where there will be hours of print evaluations followed by his wife's delicious cookies/brownies. He is indeed a fine gentleman. As a bonus, His house is a photographic gallery of all the "famous". George
