Cindy in KY,

Happy 45th. I hope you too that you got your milk cow. What a wonderful present that would be.

I'm right behind you on that 45 - will be there by the end of this year(but unfortunately I won't be receiving a milk cow). Funny, I've noticed lately that there a lot of gals on here that are right around this same age.

Happy Birthday Cindy! wow, neat present. For my 10th anniversery i got an eternity line of Alpines. I don't want diamonds anymore, after all, an Alpine is a gal's best friend... LOL:):0 BTW, i'll be um... forgot, think 40+ on Thursday. take care and hugs! I really need my milking machine badly cause my fingers hurt so bad from hand milking 14 heavy milkers and i have blisters. so i can't type very good. Maybe that machine will get here in time for my birhtday:):)

Happy Birthday Cindy!! Yes, everyone, there are alot of us 40-somethin' gals around here - seem to be quite a few named Cindy/Cynthia - which I think happens to be a perfectly loverly name. I think that is a great birthday present also - makes me want to think up somethin' like that before Oct. rolls around. Hope you've had a wonderful day.

Thank you guys all soooo much! I admit I was suprised when I saw the thread title! I had a great day today. I'm just now setting down to eat spagetti and it's midnight. We had people picking up pups and some friends stopped by and gave me a real milk bucket! I quess I did sort of hint a little. Allot of dairy people are calling for pups, and I've been trying hard to swap a pup for a calf, but golly, calves are going for 150-200 from these guys. My friend can get them allot cheaper than that. We have to go pick out the cow this weekend, he has several. They all came off a dairy, Guernsey. I'm thinking of calling her Peaches. For peaches and cream. he he he

Thanks Annie, and thanks to all you gals for admitting you're 40 something. Bernie, you didn't say exactly how close, although I think you looked younger than me when we met at the goat show. I know allot of us were in High School at the same time. See ya in the morning, and thanks again.

Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday dear Cindy!! May your milkcow bring you gallons of milk!! And yes, another 40+ gal here too.

It was your warm welcome Cindy that first brought me into this forum and while I haven't had much time to visit in here, you were right, the folks are warm and welcoming.

Since the snow departed April 25, it has been nothing but grow, grow, grow and work, work, work. I have used the bleach on the dandelions successfully - thanks to the forum info. And have been just busy landscaping. Found neighbours with perennials for this climate. So between turning my 4Runner into a tractor, transplanting trees, plants and hauling 20 year old composted manure (now that is like having Fort Knox!!) needless to say there just hasn't been a dull day. Soon I am looking forward to sitting on my new deck I built sipping some brew and breathing in the syneregy of satisfaction.

Dooooo have a great day! Much love from Angel Acres

Happy Birthday! When I turned 39, I thought I would feel old..but you know, I am just getting going! Imagine how 40 is going to feel! :-)

Thanks you guys. Diane, I did get my card, it was cute. There have been problems over at passport for hotmail, and I'm not so sure I'm going to keep my hotmail addresses. Wacky things happen when I sign in. Maybe I'll try yahoo. I slept 8 hours last night!

Thats Ginger the Guernsey. She came off a dairy, she has all 4 teats working, and a full stock Guernsey bull calf born yesterday! The bull calf is white with big gold spots too, I forgot to take his picture. He's a doll. He is going to bring her Friday to me. I though she looked more like a Ginger than a Peaches, don't you?

Bernie, she is calling for her new little baby boy who is still in the stall. He let her out to drink and eat some grass. I get to have the baby boy too. I am like so excited.
