You know, it's really not like you might think. These days, we're more like old "war buddies" that have been through hell and developed lifelong friendships. I find it interesting that anyone even CARES enough to post the thread. We have no axes to grind, and no hatchets to bury. We're just friends.

Why is that so hard to understand...?

BTW, Flint is a registered member who posts semi-regularly. He is quite welcome, as is anyone who wants to talk about "whatever" and not verbally abuse people. It's a much more laid back place than it used to be.

They must have finally gotten Paul's medication straightened out.

I hear those adjustments are a beast to get right.

LOL! You're friends with Milne and you make this statement? What planet are you on?

Well, Olson, I doubt Flint could match the unbridled hostility of the old TB 2000 crowd. Paul Milne was a hyperbolic horse's ass who could not have been more wrong about Y2K. His "drinking dog piss out of a rusty hubcap" is a classic in the genre of asshole literature. I readily acknowledge a group of Klansman might be great friends, it's just not the social circle I want to join.

Oh, Dennis, your "hell" and Milne's is self imposed. Had you listened to the reasonable Flint or anyone else with a decent grasp on reality, you could have spared yourself your current torment.

who gives a shit?

I think my favorite Milne quote was from this post:

You won't miss it bks. The telltale sign will be when you are shovelling lime, into the hastily dug and shallow grave of the corpses of your children.

Still, one of his most notable moments was his reaction to the death of Harlan Smith, as reviewed in this thread:

Harlan disuaded people from preparing. He did harm to people. Actually harm. But you IGNORE that because he died. I am glad that he is no longer able to do that. And that makes me what...?? Hateful? Insensitive?

Please.

Forgive me for not being upset when someone who is harming people is not harming them anymore.

Paul Milne

To this day, Paul never identified the actual harm caused by the late Harlan Smith. Bob Brock said it best:

OK, now that we all know that you are an absolute moroon and don't know the first thing about economics, Y2k, the law, or politics. Now that your Y2k/DB scenerio is documented as being an absolute flop, why don't you explain to us all this harm that Harlan was causing. Tell us once again about all the people whose deaths we should be held accountable for.

Was it because he was dissuading people from preparing for an event that didn't happen?

What a moroon you are Milne. But, you are indeed a very well documented moroon!

LOL

……or else the fat motherfucker will kick his eating disorder into high gear and begin to resemble Al Gore squared. Who can be surprised that this collection of strange mutants would be led by the ‘baby broker’ hisself?
