Hay Monty A freind of mine just planted cane and is trying to set up too. I have a little exp. but not a lot I am going to help him some. I am also looking for enfo on the cooking vat and determing when to pull down and other tricks.

I live in a Mennonite type community, and they grow and cook sorghum here and sell it in the fall. They have a shed where they cook it off and sell to the public. If there is a community of Mennonite's or Amish near you, they may be a great source of info. Also, in Tennessee there is a sorghum grower's association who gives advice and info to grower's.
