I will be taking some pictures in a fairly dark indoor location. The only wide angle lens available is the 28-90 that came with my elan 7e. I am not sur whether to leave the lens hood on with the pop up flash or to remove it. I plan to use 400 speed film. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Take the hood off, it will likely cause a shadow (from the flash) at the bottom of your pictures at the wide angle setting.
