Promising apprentice looking for good company in area.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : craft discussion group : One Thread

I recently passed the test to begin my apprenticeship. But the type of work I would like to pursue seems to be hard to find. I am very interested in learning residential carpentry (building homes), but it seems that all the companies who offer apprenticeships only work in the larger, industrial aspect of the trade. Could someone please send me information on possible companies who concentrate on home contracting?

Stop by the District Council office and ask for a 'Building Trades Directory'. There are many good companies which specialize in this area of construction. Regards, Rocky
