One of my articles has been reprinted in the ALABAMA COOPERATIVE FARMING NEWS and is on their internet site. Although it is titled "Co-op manager wants kids to know where food comes from" it contains some insight into some of the problems farmers (and homesteaders!) are now facing!

Good aticle.I've heard that about the young city schools kids not knowing where milk comes besides the store .Being from a large U.S. city,I can tell why the kids give this answer.It does come from the store.The way to ask the questain to see if they know the origin of the milk is.What animal does this milk come from ? They will know.
