Kosta Gratzos and Aristotle Onassis

greenspun.com : LUSENET : San Francisco History : One Thread

Kosta Gratzos, SF greek consul in the early 40s and Onassis worked together for a year on a business in Northern California. If anyone has any particular information I would like to hear it. The Onassis biographies are extremely vague on this subject with not more than a sentence about it.

See "The Life & Times of Aristotle Onassis" by Peter Evens. Their relationship was lifelong (well, since their twenties).

They were close friend and cousins. Their relationship began in Argentina in the early 40's when Onassis was a little tobacco seller. After then Kosta became his consultant and closest friend. Kosta was the brain and Aristo had the "balls". After Onassis death Kosta took care of Christina on behalf of his father. If you need some more info, please contact me. Best regards Giancarlo

Have you ever read into the gemstone files. It's a bit conspiracy theory, but informational none the less. There is an online read called "The Skeleton Key" to the files. It gives a bunch of information on Onassis and how he came to be.

Here's a link: http://www.west.net/~wwmr/gemston1.htm
