Doreen - an apology... and a site

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Freedom! self reliance : One Thread

Doreen -

I questioned some of your information in a post about the tax thing. Well, I was wrong about that - found SOME new info. Sorry!

Also, this site is a super super long thing on the history of different 'theories of conspiracy' including the Tri-lateral Commission, Commission on Foreign Relations, Binderbirgers, etc etc. Though I'm not really big on conspiracy theories, the paper lists names, dates, published books and articles, and tons of other stuff to check into for those interested.

Its presented in a way that makes me want to - at the least - check out some of the 'facts' in the paper. Because it has titles with date, author and publisher info, it seems on the surface to be on the level, but I haven't tried to find any of the sources yet. Its an interesting read, though -

Sue, there isn't any need to apologize for questioning something. I'm glad you are looking into things. It's much better for each person to take their own initiative and try to seek out info and misinfo on their own and come to their own conclusions. i just scanned the site and everything I saw there jibes with other things I have learned over time. I'll have a more thourough look at it when I have more time. It looked like a great compendium! And it isn't a conspiracy theory any longer when it is proven to be the truth, is it?

LOL Daryll! I am CONVINCED that I am these days!!

Thanks Doreen - Sometimes I spend way TOO much time checking things out, lol!! But, better safe than sorry!
