Pls can someone supply syntax examples for SQL statements that control/use/manipulate meta-data ie. Create Amend Access Right Integrity etc

From your question it is difficult to understand just axactly what you are asking for. If you are talking about business metadata, then you would have to define the lexicon for the metadata to be stored in your repository/dictionary. If you are talking about system metadata, then any CREATE DDL SQL statement populates the relational catalog with system metadata. Of course, the syntax of the DDL will differ based on the DBMS you are using...
