What a week- I fixed the mower...and fixed the mower...and got things done! WOW!

Really it should've been titled "what a day". but I'm REALLY being optimistic here and hoping for a strong carry over effect into the rest of the week. I'm not bragging here understand- this may have been Devine intervention. 1)I Fixed the exhaust on the little S-10. 2) Repaired the old flail mower. 3) broke the old flail mower after getting half the cutting done.

At this point I was still pretty happy about things. I knew what I had to do to fix the mower again. I hate to work on autos in general and exhaust systems especially. It was a piece of cake. No rust in the eyes, no broken knuckles, no nothing. Less than an hour and I can now drive w/o fear of a ticket.

I was supposed to go to the agency job for a 3-11 shift. I was getting ready to get cleaned up at 12:30 when they canceled. Yippee! I just wasn't in the mood for going to the 2nd job. Ate lunch and then......4) fixed the old flail mower again and finished the cutting. 5)Weeded and mulched over half the garden. You have to see this mess to eally appreciate what #5 means. But that's a whole 'nuther story. 6) Spent the whole day w/ the Wife and Kids and really had a good day!

While out w/ the kids We were bantering back and forth about things in general. I was giving the daughter (19) a hard time about something related to what's "COOL" according to the lastest standards. She tells me "Dad, you need to get your cool reservior refilled" DOH!!! Yes, the Force is strong w/ this one! I about fell out laughing. It degenerated into...My cup does not runneth over w/ COOL, the cool pool is to shallow, etc.

Just had a great day and wanted to share. Scheduled for another 3-11 today......hope they cancel!

John, isn't it a great feeling to get a lot of things done? Hubby and I had a good weekend. Got lots done that needed to be done! Working around here is more fun than partying even though I know a lot of people think we are crazy!

I have an America's Best well pump thats my "brood cow" around here. Seldom a week goes by without turning wrench on it or priming it.

So do you think an injection with one of the more environmentally friendly freon boosters might help your "cool" factor?

It's really great when you get a lot done, isn't it? Makes you feel like there might still be some justice left in this universe, huh?
