William Griffin's book "All Lines North of Raleigh"

Im looking for a copy of Williams book All Lines North of Raleigh: History of the Seaboard Air Lines Virginia Division. Im building a layout of the S-Line from the MP S-78 to Raleigh, around 1980 and wonder if this book would be of any help to me. I have looked all over the internet for this book with zero luck. Does anyone know of any copies for sale? If so, the price. Have a safe day.

I had already checked Amazon and Abebooks.com. I checked your recommendations and came up with nothing. And the year isnt really all that important. I just need shots of Norlina, La Crosse, and Bracey. As always, have a safe day.

Probably your best bet is to talk to some the guys who used to work this line. Not much has changed since the partial abandonment, but don't waste to much time, there aren't too many sal men who are still living.

Bill Griffin's book, ALL LINES NORTH OF RALEIGH, appears to cover only the SAL era, steam and diesel, so wouldn't be of much help for the 1980's. There are a lot of photos in the SAL era and employee stories about working the line back in the old days. Have you tried www.abebooks.com or Amazon books? Also, try a search at www.google.com for "used railroad book". The book was published by Griffin in 1991 and probably had a limited press run.
