So this is global warming?

Wow:

24 May 2001. It is 38 F here at 5:30 pm local time. Colder than Jackson Hole was last night.

Guess this is what the experts meant when they said that global warming will have different effects in different parts of the country. Of course this could be normal variation; or not.

Best Wishes,,,

Once again, you illustrate your utter and complete ignorance of anything scientific.

In Otago, New Zealand we have just experienced the earliest snowfall, and the coldest May for 40 years.

And here we were hoping to have our new house finished before winter. Looks like we'll be moving in extremely cold weather.

We could have an ice age and the wackos would call it global warming. Anything to increase taxes and centralized control.

Z, I hope you have a chance to get away from city lights on a clear night out there. It's beautiful.

I believe he is speaking of the mid-west. It is warmer at the Canadian border than it is here.

Cin and Helen:

I lived in that general area during the first half of the 70's. I was there for a two day conference. Very specific; dealt with gene rearrangements in transgenics.

They had a number of small fires to the north in Gallatin County, Mt. Pretty early for that.

I was talking about the mid-west. My tomatoes don't like this at all. They are ready to pick up and move south. It is not only cold but it is wet. We have standing water everywhere. Thinking of planting rice on Sunday. *<)))

Well off to OK and Ark next Tuesday.

Best Wishes,,,,
