Does anyone know what the deal is with Toombs? The guy was projected as a top 3 Fullback going into the draft, a likely 3rd or 4rth round pick and he goes undrafted. Then he is not signed in the initial wave of undrafted rookie free agents. Did this guy rape Paul Tagliabue or something? Why is no one signing him? I heard that the Vikes were interested in him, yet here we are going into our second mini camp and I will assume that if we have not signed him yet, we probably won't.

just found this so i thought i'd respond. i went to high school one year with ja'mar at pine tree high in longview texas. this was the year before he transferred to kilgore. while playing with him he was the type of guy who was good and by saying good i mean too good. he knew it. supposedly he kept this attitude in college and when he went to the combine he wouldnt even give teams a chance to interview him. hes had a few legal troubles while at a&m also so the report is that nobody was willing to take a chance with all his personal problems. too bad too, he is such a good athlete.
