Moss, Aye Carumba!

Randy Moss has made it official. Moss' agent proclaimed that he expects Randy to become the highest payed player in the NFL, which is traditionally a QB thing. I truly believe with all of my heart that we have no other choice but to send Moss packing before this becomes the cancer that ruins our season. There is no way Moss should be paid $10 million a season. It makes no sense. We could get away with sending Moss to a team like the Raiders or Redskins for a quality starting WR and a quality starting defender and probably a pick or two. That gets my vote.

I agree with IZ. Randy has a long way to go maturity-wise which could have a disasterous effect on the other players. It will be interesting to see how well Randy plays when Chris Carter is gone and all the defenses will be keying solely on him.

More agreement here. Moss has already proven he's not a team player. Paying him that kind of money will only exacerbate his already over-inflated ego. If the Vikes pay him that much, they better make him a bigger helmet. The trouble is that Moss is his own worst enemy. He could be the best player in the NFL if he played for the good of the team and not the good of himself.

I have to disagree only because the Vikings have put themselves in a situation where the offense is top priority! So if it's the offensive that determines how far the Vikings go then I say we will need all our star players to make it happen. Unless the Vikings are changing their philosophy I say we sign him and bombs away!

If we sign him, were going to be in the same situation we are now for years. All of our money on basically 1 or 2 players. We could get 2 or 3 players and a couple draft picks. His attitude is too risky. GO VIKES!!

No one player, particularly a non-QB or non-RB, is worth 20% of cap.

I definitely can see Green and Red paying him this kind of money. The thing that Red is looking for is exposure, with Moss he gets it. Whether he stays in MN or not, he is still going to be looking for all of the exposure that he can get.
