I have the opportunity to get my hands on a news Carl Ziess Tele-Apotessar® T* 2.8/300 for e very reasonable price, I would like to know if I could adapt this on my EOS 3.

What mount does it have on it now?

42mm Screw Mount lenses and T Mount lenses can be easily used and Canon FD/FL mount lenses can also be used with the appropriate adapters. Not sure about any others.

This would give you a lens with absolutely no automation. You'd have to stop the lens down to the taking aperture and manually focus ,but the 3 would give you correct exposures.
