Have anyone compared these lens Lieca R Apo macro Elmarit and Contax 100mm Micro ? I have Contax Micro and one of the sharpest lens I have ever seen . Please let me know if anyone has any info on this subject. Thank you very much

I haven't used the Contax lens but in my experience the Leica 100 APO is the sharpest lens I've ever used. You can't go wrong with either one.

I agree with Doug! The 100mm/f2.8 APO-Macro-Elmarit lens is probably the sharpest such lens in existence today! .............................................................. ..........................................................

The Leica 100mm Apo Elmarit Macro maybe sharp, BUT it is NOT the sharpest lens. Both the new 50mm Summilux-R and the 180mm Apo Elmarit- R are sharper!
