duh? You mean we don't have two presidents? I thought we did, so that's why I voted for two of them.

The American people have spoken and they have said loud and clear Gore.

-- egg roller (spouting@my.delusion), May 13, 2001.

What the heck? Gore might have won if people who voted for two different presidential candidates had had their votes counted? A newspaper is actually wasting paper to print such stuff? Did they count the results of double-voters nationwide? And what about the triple-voters... why should they be disenfranchised? Goofy!

>>"Democrat Al Gore might be president today if Florida's ``overvotes'' had been examined and counted -- Overvotes are ballots rejected by counting machines because they show more than one vote for president.

Nader won - It's the dirty secret that both the Repubs and the Dems are hiding from the unsuspecting poulace.

Check out how democrats.com puts the spin on this article. They are now trying to convince their mindless sheep that Gore did indeed win Florida. Cherri, Anita, and FutureShock now believe they have proof that Gore is president. The Dishonest Leading the Gullible

The Herald found that an astonishing 108,115 overvotes -- 97 percent of the total -- are lost forever. When a voter selects two or more candidates, the true preference cannot be deduced or assumed, so those votes are unsalvageable.

Most of those recoverable overvotes -- 1,871 -- were for Gore. Bush received 1,189 such votes. Other candidates received 86.

Oops my bad, appears Gore would have in fact won. Just in the 3% the Republicans were unable to trash(hehe), Gore wins by 330 votes.

Sorry

NewsMax.com Breaking News

Urgent to Concerned Americans:

From: Christopher Ruddy, editor of NewsMax.com Re: New Book Exposes Gore Effort to Steal Election

Believe it or not, the Democrats still claim they won last November's election. Sen. Lieberman has referred to himself as a "vice-president in exile."

Of course, the Democrats want the public to believe this -- to strengthen the case they should win the White House in 2004.

But now, a new book blows the lid off these phony claims.

It's called "At Any Cost: How Al Gore Tried to Steal the Election" by Washington Times reporter Bill Sammon.

Sammon has revealed the behind-the-scenes effort by the Gore campaign to steal the recent presidential election. The book entitled "At Any Cost" is already #1 on the Amazon best-seller list. But NewsMax.com readers can get this book cheaper than Amazon -- cheaper than anywhere on the web by clicking here NOW: http://www.newsmaxstore.com/atanycost.htm

The new book reveals that Bush would have actually won Florida by 10,000 votes had the networks not made a phony claim at 7PM that Gore had won -- causing thousands of Bush voters in Florida's western panhandle to stay home. Here are some more of the details from this important book:

NASHVILLE--It was late on election night, and Al Gore was furious. He wasn't supposed to lose. So, in the wee hours, the signal was given... triggering the most outrageous attempt at political larceny in U.S. history.

Washington Times reporter Bill Sammon blows the lid off the biggest presidential election story ever, and tells all in At Any Cost: How Al Gore Tried to Steal the Election. It reveals never-before-published evidence of:

- Gore votes being created out of thin air, - how determining the voters' "intent" allowed re-counts to be distorted in Gore's favor, - throwing out Bush votes - mainly from overseas military personnel - even as the Gore team called for "counting every vote," - inflaming racial tensions by inventing voter intimidation cases, and - forcing our democratic election process into the arena of lawyers and lawsuits.

Order this book, now cheaper than Amazon, by clicking Here: http://www.newsmaxstore.com/atanycost.htm This "At Any Cost" reads like a political thriller. It exposes all the behind-the-scenes manipulation and courtroom maneuvering that turned Florida's election upside down. At Any Cost reveals:

- the ultra partisan rulings of the Florida Supreme Court, - the TV networks "calling" Florida for Gore before the polls had even closed, - the plot to blackmail GOP Electors, and - why Al Gore's wholesale assault on our democratic process will poison the air in Washington for years to come.

I was in line at the grocery store today and noticed that one of the headlines on the Weekly World News was "WACO Cult Leader Spotted At Timothy McVeigh's Trial". Expect Democrats.com to break this "news" tomorrow. Expect the three stooges to parrot it the next day.
