Dumbya the Puppet dances for the NWO

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Wild Wild West : One Thread

Dumbya the puppet idiot is really something. The NWO corporate elite say jump and he says how high. He reminds me of the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, a brainless dancing fool.

First he talks the country into a recession to justify a huge tax cut, most of which will go to the corporate elite.

Then he looks the other way while energy and gas wholesalers jack prices through the roof to California, trying to scare the sheeple into believing we need to build more poison power plants. The staged scenario in California is used as a threat, with Dumbya and Dickhead using scare tactics by telling the rest of the country that the same thing might happen to them.

Now he tells us we shouldn't worry about gas prices going up because we are getting a tax cut. Isn't that convenient! So we are supposed to spend all of our measly tax cut money on more expensive gasoline so that the corporate elite can make outrageous profits, and it just so happens that they are the ones who will benefit most by paying much lower taxes on these very same profits!!

Is he so stupid that he thinks the people can't figure out what is going on here? Or maybe he is so stupid that he hasn't figured it out himself, he is just followin orders!

He might as well just tell the American people that part of our taxes will now be sent directly to the corporate elite of the gas and energy industry! It would accomplish the same thing and eliminate all of this deception! We will never get to use our tax money, but it will make them even richer.

This is the classic NWO "Problem - Reaction - Solution" strategy, and the people should let it be known that we are too smart to let these bastards turn us into more puppets in their self-serving greedy play for more power and profit.

Bush: Tax Cut Best Remedy for High Gas Prices

By Steve Holland

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites) argued on Friday that the best way for Americans to deal with rising gasoline prices is to have a tax cut.

At a news conference, Bush was peppered with questions about his energy policy in the face of rising retail gasoline prices that have reached or neared $2 a gallon this week in some areas.

A budget resolution approved by Congress on Thursday includes $1.35 trillion in tax cuts, including $100 billion for parceling out over the next two years. Bush put pressure on Congress to move quickly, linking the tax cut as a way to pay for rising gas prices.

``I worry about the fact that hard-working people are paying high prices at the pump. It concerns me a lot. And therefore, the Congress needs to cut taxes as quickly as possible to give people money to be able to deal with this situation,'' he said.

He added: ``I hope there is no intention to delay. There needs to be money in the pockets of our consumers as quickly as possible.''

Other than that, Bush offered little hope for a short-term solution to easing the pain of high gasoline prices going into the summer season, a time when some experts are predicting prices will go as high as $3 a gallon in some areas.

The main problem, he said, is that the United States lacks refining capacity to process oil into gasoline. Increasing refineries is expected to be a major component of Bush' recommendations on energy, which he and Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) are to roll out next week.

``The reason why we have a problem at the gas pump at this particular moment in history is because we haven't built any refining capacity. When you don't increase supplies of a commodity and demand continues to increase, the price is going to go up,'' he said.

A new USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll found that 94 percent of Americans believe the United States faces a serious energy crisis, and 60 percent said they will drive less this summer because of high gasoline prices.

Washington lawmakers fear the growing consumer angst over energy will result in constituent backlash, especially during next year's congressional elections, and are pushing the Bush administration to do more to provide short-term relief.

Bush showed little enthusiasm for cutting the 18.4-cent a gallon federal excise tax on fuel to give consumers a break from high prices -- an idea supported by many Republicans.

He declined to blame OPEC (news - web sites)'s production cutbacks as a reason for the supply shortfall in America -- as others in his administration have done.

He said he had talked about oil to visiting Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo who said his country, an OPEC member, was considering increasing output.

As White House officials briefed lawmakers and key congressional aides on Capitol Hill about the energy plan, Bush seemed to place more emphasis than previously on the need for energy conservation.

He spoke of tax incentives for ``hybrid'' automobiles that do not rely exclusively on gasoline and said Americans need to conserve more, while insisting there is no way the country can conserve its way to energy independence.

In Bush's report, administration and industry sources say the president is expected to issue a clarion call to action for long-term solutions to a problem the White House insists did not erupt overnight and will not be solved quickly.

The plan will call for streamlining the permit process to speed the building of power plants in order to increase electrical capacity.

Other items are expected to be: Expanded drilling for oil and natural gas on federal land; an emphasis on clean-burning coal and nuclear power; tax breaks for buying energy-efficient vehicles; and tax incentives to encourage energy production.

Leading Republicans are worried about the political cost to Bush and their party if rising gas prices and rolling electrical blackouts in California persist.

``I think the California blackout and the increased gasoline prices have changed the political environment for the White House,'' said one prominent Republican on condition of anonymity. ``No longer is this isolated to the West Coast. It appears now to be a national issue.''

If Clinton had tried to pull anything even remotely as corrupt and deceptive as this, the Republigoon dickhunters would spend the next 20 years trying to hang him so they would have an excuse to ignore the issues that the people are paying them to deal with.

The sad thing is that this is not going to end in 4 years. Dumbya was not elected the first time and he will not need to be elected the second, third, fourth, or fifth time.

What will happen to good patriots like ourselves?
