Compendium or other shade for Linhof 6x9

Can anyone tell me if any of the Linhof shades or any other manufacturer's shades will fit on a Super Technika 2x3? Thanks.

No Linhof compendium is available as the camera has no mount for one

Artie,

1) The universal lensshade with filter holder, code 001914, rings enclosed 70/60/51/42mm diam., code of ring 70/42mm: 001922.

2) The screw in lensshade for all diameters, code 001917.

(Other codes I don’t remember).

Both ones are available as for the Master Tech 45, so for Super Tech. 23, the Linhof 220 and others which accepts lens of 70/60/51/42mm diameter of front lens barrel. I have such shades and saw ones at ebay.

Fitting of the lensshade doesn’t require any camera’ mount. The lensshade 001914 is put on the front lens barrel with use of adequate ring enclosed, while the lensshade for all diameters (code 001917) is screwed in the lens front mount.

These are lenshoods not compendiums.

A compendium is a fully adjustable hood that moves and tilts, shifts, etc rather then just being a fixed or set length. One important reason for the compendium is that it is capable (with the masks) to block out all light except that which makes the actual exposure - regardless of the focal length of the lens. And, because it is adjustable for position it will not cause vignetting with front or back movements.
