Comfrey as a fertilizer

Could anyone tell me about comfreys properties as a fertilizer?(ie)liquid fert. etc.methods,dilutions,reasons etc. Thankyou

To make a liquid fertilizer from comfrey, get a plastic flower pot with holes in the bottom, harvest comfrey leaves/stalks, fill pot about half-way. set pot into a five gal. bucket, press comfrey down with brick, add a few inches of water and put in a shaded spot were rain can't get at it for 2-4 weeks. Then you should have a black liquid in the bucket, dilute with water 15-1 and use as a fertilizer. try it. Bruce
