We ate dinner at "The Shell House, 8 Gateway Blvd, at the intersection of I-95 and Highway 204 just south of Savannah. No fried food here. You order steamed seafood, shell it yourself, and stuff the shells in a hole in table. I had a shrimp salad, she had shrimp creole, we liked the key lime pie the best. We might go back.

We ate at "Williams Seafood" 8010 Tybee Rd on the way from Savannah to Tybee Island. We had lunch sharing a shrimp cocktail and a fried seafood platter. (Please remind us not to order a salad at the beach.) There was not wait at lunch. We ordered fast, get served fast and enjoyed our meal. We particulary like the fried fish and the deviled crab.

We'll be back for lunch.

Well The Crab Shack, of course! It's located right on the water and it has fabulous, generous portions of seafood. There are "beach cats" that wander around the porch as you eat, and always appreciate a bit of crab or a shrimp! It's got a relaxed atmosphere and an adorable gift shop... and you can ven drive your boat right up to the dock to come in for a bite.
