Outside Skaftafell National Park (take 2)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Nature Photography Image Critique : One Thread

Let's try this again, this time linking to my photo.net portfolio and not the evil Yahoo.

Skaftafell Taken from the Ring Road just outside Skaftafell National Park in southern Iceland. Minolta X-570, Minolta 58mm @ f/8, 1/125, Fuji Provia 100F.

More Icelandic photos on my site, http://members.aol .com/cldphoto/iceland.html.

Nice to see I'm garnering comments on this one.

C'mon, Christian - you know this site is dead these days...

Ok, I'll give you feedback: I love the composition, but the mountains look a little soft. Hard to tell, 'cause the large version is still only 360x550. Given the lack of clouds, I'd have probably cropped a bit more sky in favor of the sedum (?), but that's a judgment call when you're there. Either way, I'd put this on my wall, or wallpaper. And I didn't contribute to your ratings...

This is my first time in your forum. I must say that without Josh's posts this site would be pretty bleep!

Eric/Edgar,

So this is my forum now? Very well, my iron-fisted rule has commenced. Sarcasm aside, this isn't my forum, nor would I want it to be. I have enough to do.

Sorry you find the Nature Photography Image Critique forum is "bleep." My first change as supreme dictator is to change this to the "Josh and Snoop Dogg Rule" forum. No more boring photo analysis, let's party mindlessly. Realisticly, what did you expect here, an online rave?

Last but not least: Thanks for your incisive critical response to my photo of an Icelandic mountain range. Oops, wait, I'm being sarcastic again. Seriously, go be a sycophant in Josh's thread.

Thanks for your comment. Look forward to your next post. No, really.
