Anybody out there/Real country butter

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Does anyone exist, with pure country butter? Never mind the store brand. It does not taste the same. Some may shout Cholestrol out the wazoo, but not one, even One except, my Grandfather had any heart problems. And I don't have enough skin like left to worry about one, in a long linegage. I desire pure country butter, on a biscuit, melted in a spool of syrup. Think my statement provokes you? You, in instant of spiral water, which flows from your taps. You think the water pure? The water which flows from your kitchen tap was your neighbors crap water from a day before. And if you aren't entirely brain dead, do some research. It might open your eyes.

I can't tell what you are trying to ask, Alene? (Or is this just intended to be a social comment?)

Well, I don't own a cow or goat, so REAL butter is out of the question for a bit, but in the store I get butter and not margarine... Cholesterol be d****d! Eat egg yolks, too...

I drink water that I bottle from a creek on our mining claims. I know all too well what the water from my tap contains... even from a well. If I'm going to risk it, I'll take the clear, cold fresh spring water anyday!!! Just so long as all beavers remain downstream, I'm doin' good!!

Now... do you make your own syrup to go with that melting butter??? If so, I'd love some!

Arlene, we also use real unsalted butter. Though yes it is animal fat, nowhere the problems with real fat vs hydrogenated oils from margarine. With a well out the back door, I am all to aware that ground water contamination is a very important risk. When we lived in California, a "lake" we frequented was actually a water treatment plant, so yes in this sense the water was at one time somebody else's "crap". Vicki

How upsetting to find out that along with REAL butter and clean water, that Alene has a fake email addy! :( Vicki

Why are you upset Vicki? You could not "bring down my logic" so you set yourself to bring down my email address. How diverting. Better armour yourself with more than that. Anyone think Y2K "done and finished". better take a second look at what you arrogant fools over looked. I am currently trying to figure out why same program with two different reports, has different figures. One report "pings" on one set of data, all is well, the fix was met. However, the second report, which should collorate with the first, does not. Oh Lord, what a bunch of fools.

"HUH?"

-- Lisa in WI (lehman16@vbe.com), May 07, 2001.

Yep, HUH!? is the right answer! I tried to be nice and make sense where none was....Couldn't care whether you use a fake email addy or not, just don't click on "yes, I want responces sent to me" that way it doesn't fill up my email with bounces, which this one will bounce also.................:) Vicki
