Hi, I was hoping someone had a receipe for syrup or jam for saskatoons (We call them serviceberries here in WA). Maybe even a canning receipe. I'd love to save a little money by getting some more free produce. I plan to freeze some, but there is only so much freezer space. Thanks Kate

May-June issue of Countryside, page 82, has a good article on Saskatoons and recipes for Pudding, Muffins, Cake and Berry Pie and Tarts. Perhaps a recipe for raspberries would do for these also, or someone might post a recipe after reading your question.
