Here's a nice website created by a teacher. In addition to the numerous lesson plans and project ideas, MiddleSchoolScience.com (not to be confused with middleschoolscience.org!) includes a description of how the teacher organizes her classroom (click on "Odds & Ends").

I would love to see teachers use this forum to share ideas on how they organize their classroom, strategies for dealing with materials, paperwork, homework, labs, etc. Just post a message and submit a single strategy that works for you - it doesn't have to be original!
