Nikon Hoods for 80-200mm f/2.8 ED AF (N)

I am going to get the above mentioned lens and was wondering what kind of lens hood I should get with it. The standard one that is recommended is the plastic HB-7 while there is a metal HN-28 also designed to fit this lens if I am not mistaken. I also noticed that the HN-28 is more cylindrical while the HB-7 is flared more like a cone. Is there any difference besides the point that the HB-7 is a bayonet mount and the HK-28 is a screw on? By the way, I have read one thread here about the HB-17 (for the AFS version of this lens) is not compatible with this lens. Is this true? Has anyone tried it out yet? Thank you in advance for you replies.

The newer hood for the AF-S lens is not compatible, because the bayonet is different.

I have the HN-28 for my 80-200/2.8D because (a) I prefer a metal hood and (b) I prefer a screw-on hood. The screw-on hood makes adjusting a polarizer a snap - just twist the whole thing.

The dedicated hood for the 80-200mm f/2.8 lens with tripod collar is the HB-7. I guess the HN-28 is for the older model, but it probably works. By the way I have one for sale if you are interested.
