I have a slew of old bootleg concert tapes that I was looking to convert to VCD in order to perserve them much better in a more durable format.

What I wanted to know is what tools I will need to do this?

I have a DVD player that plays VCD, and I have a CD burner as well.

I was also wondering if anyone might tell me what kind of results I could expect to get by doing this.

Is the sound and quality kept roughly intact when this conversion is done?

I would appreciate any help.
