Problems with VCDs using Nero

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I used Nero to burn an avi file to a video cd. Nero converted the file to an mpeg and it would play on my dvd player, but it did not have any sound. What can I do or use to fix this.

First test/play the original AVI file if it has sound. Then we take it from there.

try using the application on the vcdhelp.com site avi2vcd - I use it and it does a great job of converting avi to mpg first then I use nero to burn the mpgs as vcd.
