I am doing research to advance my career skills. I am trying to find a book, textbook, or journal articles that detail the due diligence that you go through to purchasea a pool of auto loans from another financial institution. Specfically the financial analysis that one needs to go through to come to a valuation for the purchase price for the pool of loans. I understand that one would take the present value of the pool and calulate a future value based on the rate of return desired by the company but I am looking for a step-by-step of what needs to be done through the due diligence. I would appreciate ant help and comments out there.
