ACL Employees Timetable??

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ACL and SAL Railroads Historical Society : One Thread

I would be interested in obtaining a copy or copies of ACL Employees Timetables for what was the Richmond Division prior to the ACL/SAL merger. I also believe the area (southeastern VA and all ACL operations in NC)went by a different name prior to being called the Richmond Division didn't it? I would be willing to settle for photocopies or downloaded copies. The timeframe that I would be interested in would be say the 1930's, 40's, and the 50's. Aany help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Raymond Smith

Raymond, a direct source for ETT's is through Carl Loucks, PO Box 484, North Haven, CT 06473, 203-288-3765. You can also e-mail him at ct.direct.mail@snet.net

Raymond, if memory serves me right, the ACL system was comprised of three divisions. Northern, Western, and Southern Divisions. As an example, the Ocala District and Tampa District were part of the Southern Division.

Seniority for different crafts were by union agreement, limited to either system, division, or district.

I hope this helps with part of your question. For the second part of your question, employee timetables are often listed on Ebay.
