Major Disruption For Ansett In Australia

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Grassroots Information Coordination Center (GICC) : One Thread

Ansett staff are trying to reorganise Easter
flights after the Australian civil aviation
watchdog grounded one fifth of the airline's
main passenger fleet for safety reasons.

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority grounded
all ten of Ansett's Boeing 767s indefinitely,
and gave the airline three weeks to fix ongoing
maintenance and management problems or be closed
down.
