He doesn't want to join us so fair enough. I appreciate him wanting to win things in England and we can't offer him that at the minute.We need a more dynamic midfielder anyway, Guardiola's game is not suited to the Premiership from what I've seen.

On the IC Newcastle site today they are linking Robson with a move for De La Pena, the midfielder who started off at Barca then moved to Lazio where it didn't work out for him so he joined Marseille! He's only 24 so he should be coming into his prime period now, free from the injuries associated with growing up!Apparently he was Robson's main man at Barca.
