Hi Ladies & Gentleman: How about a posting of cheapest fuel prices in your area & IDENTIFYING IT! I'm in Yuba City, California CHEAPEST YESTERDAY WAS $1.79. I was told in N Texas it is $1.29. So how about the other states, cities or whatever filling in the gaps. Seems like the WEST Coast is Getting ripped OFF. Thanks you in advance for your replys. Remember the 87 Octane price is what well use for comparison. Thanks Again Geno-Ca

It's been going up around here in Milwaukee since early March. The past week it has gone up in much bigger chunks though. A week ago the price per gallon of self service regular was $1.46 a gallon.

Today gas is $1.75 a gallon for self service regular!

Tuesday afternoon, I was driving past service station with gas for $1.62. I thought that I should fill my tank, which was empty and then go back home and bring my wife's car and fill her tank which was also on empty. I thought, "nah, I'll go to the store and when on my way back I'll fill my tank and then hers. One hour and a half later, as I pull into service station, their price had risen to $1.75........... He who hesitates...... :)

East Central Indiana has seen gas prices go from $113.9 to $165.9 in just 10 days. Before that, the price would fluctuate a whole 30 cents in one 24 hour period. Up one day, then down the next. Very strange supply and demand theory. Even more strange, the consumers did not seem to notice or ask questions.

1.45 for the good stuff in atlanta ga

Here in SE Texas, Houston, 87 goes for $1.58, but as recently as a week ago, it was $1.39 (according to a crumpled receipt in my pocket.)

Normally Texas tends to have higher prices, because gas sold in state, that is produced and refined in state, is not covered by Interstate Commerce Commission rules, and they can, and do, charge more.

FL-pb-south, where the chads dangle, $1.59
What I'd like to know is why we were paying ~$1.40, 2 years ago when a barrel was $10 and now it only goes up to $1.70 at $26 a barrel. It just don't add up.
