How large of an area was affected by the 1989 earthquake?

Hope this is not too late a response. The epicenter was Loma Prieta near Santa Cruz. I was there in 1989. I believe the worse damage was there, Watsonville and Oakland. Santa Cruz downtown was severly affected. The Marina District was the worst damage in the city of SF. Of course the Bay Bridge and the Cypress Freeway was the most dramatic and well kno
