Have the teams build a submersible remote operate vehicle that is capable of diving to a depth of 8 to 10 feet to retrive a 5 to 10 pound object. Also, the team will have to build a mother ship in order to launch and retrieve the submersible remote operated vehicle. The first team to get their sumbersible remote operated vehicle and retrieved object back aboard the mother ship wins.

Answers

Since they've already done manned submersibles, as well as two other different diving contests, I'm not sure going to an unmanned contest would be a step in the right direction at this point. Logically, the next underwater contest would be to build something along the lines of the Hunley. (Now everyone take a deep breath!)
