Wow..lots of suggestions on this list. Forgive me if mine is a repeat, I didn't see it, but I didn't go through the whole list either. I suggest each team build 4 wheelchairs and then have a wheelchair basketball game at the end. The game would most likely test the quality of the wheelchairs more than the quality of the basketball-playing itself. Not to suggest these people aren't fabulous sporty-types too.;) But would building the chairs themselves be too boring? Maybe have to work on that part of it a bit.

What if the wheelchairs were powered? Seed the yard with a bunch of small weedeater and chainsaw and leaf blower motors and maybe small electrics and batteries to give contrast. Then just make it a race where all 4 chairs have to cross the line to finish. If one chair quits or breaks, they're all screwed.

I think this is a pretty good idea, but the teams are already somewhat handi-capped,or physically challenged, don't you think? Just kidding. A noble idea.
