In the 50's I read a book about a boy who was so small his father made him a bubble apparatus that strapped to the back of a seagull and he and the bird went on adventures. Mysteries or spies I think. I found the wonderful adventures of Niles but that is a different story. I cannot remember the name or the author and have had no luck in all the places I have asked.

I found another person looking for the same book and they had the name of the sea gull, Gus. A woman responded to hers with the name and Author. "The Fabulous Flight" By Robert Lawson. I found it at the local library and have been reading it to my grandson. It is as wonderful as I remember with great drawings the author did. Thanks for your interest. Mike
