how do you burn still images to cd using nero 5.0 or easy cd creator 4

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I know this has probably already been discussed here but I am having the biggest problem putting pictures to a cd so that my dvd player can view them. i have about 400 pictures and i do use nero and easy cd but the only problem is when using each program the first 2 pictures come out in the slide show and then just black. Can anyone PLEASE give me a detailed version on how to do this process step by step. any information is greatly appreciated. thank you in advance

I had the same problem. How I solved it was instead of making a SVCD, I used the standard VCD template. Pictures look great. Don't know if it is a bug in Nero, or what?

If you only have pictures (no video) there should be no difference between VCD and SVCD because they both cater for the same 704x480/576 still resolution. Having said this one quick fix out is through WinOnCDPE 3.7 or 3.8 (if you can get it).

Because the NERO 5.0 convert the JPG files to MPG files with the resolution of 704x576(PAL) but 704x480(NTSC). So we guys using NTSC standard could not play it correctly!
