I was able to get TMPG-12d to work with Pinnacle DC10+ in making VCD's & SVCDs without the blank (black) screen by going in to "Enviromental Options" and "VFAPI Plug In" and giving "AVI VFW" top priority. Right click on mouse when over "AVI VFW" will give option to raise or lower it's priority.

Hope this will help Pinnacle owners. Or maybe I am the last to know this??
