weak vinegar

madde a batch of vinegar,, and its SOOOO WEAK. Anything I can do to "beef" it up? or do I just add it to a stronger batch ?

What was the alcohol content that you started with?Seems to me low alcohol =weak vinegar.don't know how to fix other than by distillation or using it to cut acidity on other batches of vinegar.

no idea on the acohol content,, I just had apple juice,, fresh squeezed,, then added mother to it

That was the problem.It gos sugar to alcohol.alcohol to acetic acid.Thats why it used to be made from wine.well still is. cheers
