Okay,

You have four weeks to kill. So here begins JYW's home version! This must be accomplished with a minor! (Use your kids, niece or nephew, grandkids, or borrow one from the neighbors.)

You can only use the following items... A Shoebox 3' of string Duct Tape Any color or variety of paint A coat hanger A mini flashlight 8 - 1" or bigger washers

You must submit your interest to compete via this thread by 3/31/01. The game will officially start 4/01/01 if there is at least two applicants. You must submit an electronic photo of your "invention" to the above email address. They will be judged by my 9 and 11 year old.

The coolest item will be posted on our website and will recieve a 6 pack of their legal beverage and a six pack of the minor's favorite soft drink shipped in their honor (subject to availability).

This contest is not affliated with Junk Yard Wars or RDF Productions. (Just spend an afternoon helping a kid learn!)

Dan! I'm in. My son saw this thread and would like this challenge very much... You didn't give the e-mail address to send the pics though....... Bring it on... My 11 year old son and I can build anything... Oh yeah.. He welds with me also....... So this shouldn't be a problem for him... Me on the other hand@!#!$!#4, My mind is still on the entry..LOL...
