Does anyone know where I can get a list of plants that are poisonous to farm animals, (cows, goats, sheep, horses, etc.). I know that Ewe bushes are poisonous to cows, but don't know of anything else. Spring is coming and the wife wants to plant ornamentals, perennials(sp) and such to spruce up the place.

Call your county extension office, and or the closest state university to where you live. Both will have great references - usually free for picking up - on LOCAL poisonous and hazardous plants. They will also have information on the insects, reptiles and other potential threats to local livestock.
