Ummmm.... sure this is one way to get folks to your site, Dave, but are you sure this is the BEST way?????

So.... in fast-food vernacular.... "Where's the Beef???" lol...

Soooooo....you're saying that in order to make the change from city living to country living all you need is a little magic? Can we say, "Reality check?"

I don't think the fact your domain name is "outrageous marketing" is going to impress anyone here...lol...

Hmmmm.... I wasn't trying to get people to my site (It is for performers and helping them to market)...!!!!!

I merely wanted to see if there was interest in a video about moving from the city to the country :)

I grew up in the Ozarks, lived on a farm, moved to the city and now am getting back to the country...Hence, the question of interest.....

Sorry for the confusion.

Well, David, personally I don't think a video would increase my understanding of information. A book would be more appropriate. What would the video show that couldn't be more cheaply conveyed in print?

"I grew up in the Ozarks, lived on a farm, moved to the city and now am getting BACK to the country..." (BACK TO...) Now think about this, for a minute: A father has a boat. The son gets to go out in it for a time during his youth. In the process, he learns a little seamanship. When graduating high school, he buys a cheap boat of his own, and his dad helps him secure a nice outboard motor. Ten years later, his life has changed, he finds himself living inland, with no boat for several years. He marries, and after a couple difficult years, financially, thinks about owning a boat AGAIN. This sounds difficult to his wife, and everyone else around his circle of friends, but what HE knows, that THEY don't know, is how easy it is to have a boat. You work for it, and just go DO it. You have to believe something is attainable. That makes all the difference in the world. His belief in boat ownership allows him to transcend financial hurdles, and small time minds, and soon, sure enough, the next thing you know, there he is: Out sailing around. Mindset is everything. David Paul, you already have an advantage that your clientele may not. You BELIEVE in country living. You know it is do- able. Your customers may have only been exposed to the "we live in town" mentality. The way I see it, it could take a lot more than a video or a book, to change that mindset. Small changes toward homesteading, and spending time with folks that farm, will go a lot further toward getting city folks to make any real move back to someone ELSE'S roots. Do you understand what I mean? Now, if you had grown up for 35 years, in the heart of Boston, and moved to a remote farmstead north of Elmira, NY, cold-turkey, with no friends or relatives for 500 miles, then I and EVERYONE HERE would want to hear about your escapades! And how all your farm critters showed you the "ropes".
