We are seeking a property caretaking position in the southern USA. We are a mature white couple, man age 58 and wife age 62. We are currently living/working as property maintenance workers on a small farm about 35 miles east of Atlanta, GA and our work contract expires next month. We need a place to live and a salary, in exchange for our help/services. We can relocate by April 25th, 2001. We do not drink or use drugs, both smoke. Both have never been fired from any job. We are honest, dependable and responsible adults. We have no pets. We enjoy working with plants, being outside and are experienced in many areas. Resume is available on request.

There is a lady named Lilly in Grapevine,TX who usually needs help on her horse farm. In the past she provided a home for the people who worked for them. Try the Ocala Florida area. There are tons of horsefarms here. Its a 1.2 B-B-B-BILLION dollar industry here. There are also a lot of snowbirds with small farms that are gone in the summer and like to have someone living on the grounds. Ad in the paper?

Hi, this is a reply to all who sent in an idea or suggestion about where our question...Thank You All, unfortunately, none of these ideas have worked for us so far. We are now in Valdosta, GA (April 08, 2002) and are currently renting a small mobile home and still looking for a property caretaking position somewhere in the states of Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama or Florida.
